Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026
AskTula helps you find the cheapest way to pay for an online order. These terms explain what AskTula does, what it does not do, and the rules for using it. In plain words: we give you information to help you decide how to pay. We never process your money, we can be wrong about an offer, and you should always confirm the final price in the merchant's or bank's own app before you pay.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AskTula website, WhatsApp service, and app (together, the "Service"), operated from Chhattisgarh, India ("AskTula", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What AskTula is (and is not)

AskTula is an information and comparison service. We compare the payment offers that may apply to your order across the cards, UPI apps, and wallets you tell us you have, and we show you which way is likely to cost the least.

AskTula is not a bank, lender, payment aggregator, payment gateway, or financial advisor. We do not process, facilitate, hold, or move any payment. You always pay inside the merchant's own checkout, exactly as you would without us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. The Service is intended for users in India.

3. Information only, always verify before you pay

This is the most important thing to understand. The offers, savings, and rupee figures we show are estimates based on the best information we have, which can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Offers change often, and banks and merchants set their own terms, caps, and conditions. Before you pay, always confirm the final price and the exact offer terms in the merchant's or bank's own app or website. AskTula is a guide, not a guarantee.

Reward points and miles are shown as an honest rupee estimate, clearly marked as an estimate. Their real value depends on how you redeem them and can be higher or lower than the figure shown.

4. Your payment methods

To use the Service you tell us the names of the payment methods you own, for example "HDFC Millennia" or "Paytm". You confirm that you are entitled to use the payment methods you tell us about. We never ask for, and you must never send us, card numbers, CVV, expiry dates, OTPs, UPI PINs, net-banking passwords, or any other credential. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

5. How we make money, and our neutrality pledge

AskTula is free to use. We may earn a referral commission when you choose to buy through a link we provide or apply for a card we suggest. This is how we keep the Service free.

Our pledge: commission never changes the answer we give you. Our rankings are calculated on the actual savings to you, before any commission is considered. The best offer for you always wins, even when it earns us nothing. We do not accept payment to rank any card, wallet, or offer higher than the numbers deserve.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

7. No payment processing

AskTula never processes, holds, or transfers money, and never has access to your funds or accounts. Any purchase you make happens entirely between you and the merchant, through the merchant's own checkout and payment provider. Any dispute about a purchase, refund, delivery, or an offer not honoured is between you and the merchant or bank concerned, not AskTula.

8. Third-party services and trademarks

The Service references and works alongside third parties such as banks, card networks, wallets, UPI apps, merchants, and messaging platforms like WhatsApp. We do not control these third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. Card, wallet, bank, and merchant names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and comparison only. AskTula is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by them unless we say so explicitly.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We are still building AskTula and may add, change, pause, or remove features at any time. We do not promise the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may also limit access during our early-access period.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that any offer, saving, or figure shown is accurate, current, or available to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskTula and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information shown by the Service, including an offer that turns out to be unavailable, capped, expired, or different from what we showed. You are responsible for confirming the final price and terms before you pay. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold AskTula harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chhattisgarh, India will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
